Glazed Hakurei Turnips on Spicy Salad Mix

Ingredients
3 Turnips, peeled and diced1 shallot, diced1 orange, zested and juiced3 tablespoons honeySpicy salad mix1 cucumber, sliced1 tomato, sliced2 carrots, peeled and sliced1 bell pepper, sliced3 radishes, sliced3 tablespoons olive oil2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar1 teaspoon stone ground mustard1 teaspoon honey1 teaspoon fresh herbsSalt and pepper to taste
Directions

  1. Heat skillet on medium high heat. Add one tablespoon olive oil.
  2. Add shallot and turnip. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Saute for 4 minutes.
  4. Add honey, orange juice and zest.
  5. Continue sauteing for 5 more minutes.
  6. Remove from heat and cool.
  7. In a bowl make salad with all vegetables.
  8. In a separate bowl whisk honey, mustard, apple cider vinegar, fresh herbs, salt and pepper.
  9. While whisking, add olive oil.
  10. Toss the salad with the dressing.
  11. Top the salad with turnips.
