Directions
- Brown the ground beef and drain the fat. Return to the skillet and add the onions and seasonings; cook until onions are soft and translucent.
- Dice the carrots.
- Add the carrots to the cooked meat and onions and cook for about 20 minutes, stirring to avoid sticking. Add a couple tablespoons of water if the mixture starts to stick.
- Gradually add 1 cup of water or chicken broth while the mixture continues to cook.Â
