Carrots and Ground Beef

Ingredients
1-2 pounds of ground beef1 bunch offresh carrots1/2 teaspoon black pepper1 teaspoon of salt1 medium onion sliced ​​(you can use any type of onion)1/2 teaspoon garlic powderCayenne pepper to taste (optional)1-2 tablespoons of water1 cup chicken broth or water
Directions

  1. Brown the ground beef and drain the fat. Return to the skillet and add the onions and seasonings; cook until onions are soft and translucent.
  2. Dice the carrots.
  3. Add the carrots to the cooked meat and onions and cook for about 20 minutes, stirring to avoid sticking. Add a couple tablespoons of water if the mixture starts to stick.
  4. Gradually add 1 cup of water or chicken broth while the mixture continues to cook. 
  5. Cook an additional 20 minutes or until the liquid has cooked through and the carrots are soft. 
  6. Eat it straight out of the pot or if you have rice on hand, serve it with rice!
