Ingredients
4 ripe bananas, peeled and cut into 1-inch pieces, about 2 ½ cups1/4 - 1/2 cup milk of your choice1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extractsweeten to taste with a few teaspoons raw honey or Grade A maple syrupToppings: granola, mini-chocolate chips, toasted coconut, nuts, chocolate sauce
Directions
- Arrange the banana pieces on a baking sheet or a plate and freeze until frozen. Place individual bowls for the ice cream in the freezer.
- When the bananas are frozen, place in the bowl of a food processor or Vitamix or other high-powered blender. Add milk, vanilla and sweetener to taste. Process until smooth and creamy.
- Transfer the ice cream to the frozen bowls and serve immediately with toppings.
