Ingredients
6 cups or 2 bunches of kale2 lemons1 Teaspoon Salt¼ cup olive oil1 cup grated parmesan or ½ cup dried parmesan2 Tablespoons honey (OPTIONAL)
Directions
- 1. Take the leaves off the stems
- 2. Put the stems away to be cut up and sauteed with onions and oil for
- another meal
- 3. Put the kale leaves into a big bowl, and tear up into pieces no larger
- than 1 inch in diameter.
- 4. Squeeze lemon juice over the kale.
- 5. Pour olive oil over kale.
- 6. Sprinkle salt over the mixture.
- 7. Rub the kale between your fingers for at 3 minutes. SET A TIMER!
- 8. If you like your salads kind of sweet, add the honey, and mix into the
- salad.
- 9. Finally, add the parmesan cheese and toss lightly through the salad.
